3"(8 cm.) doll. 4"x 6"frame. A porcelain-head doll with sculpted black hair and painted facial
features,on wooden fully-articulated body with shapely waist,dowel-jointing at shoulders and
hips,and dowel-jointed porcelain lower limbs,painted flat shoes. The doll is presented in an
antique walnut frame. Excellent condition. Germany,circa 1859. Provenance: Evelyn Kendall
