Description
5" (13 cm.) h. desk. Each is of a combination of tin,pressed card paper or wood,with painted finish to simulate rosewood. Comprising Empire-style curved front desk with green felt writing pad,faux-ivory drawer knobs and S-shaped carved legs; three-seat sofa with original blue velvet upholstery,armchair with green velvet upholstery; set of three balloon-back chairs with blue velvet upholstered seats; and another style of balloon-back chairs with green velvet upholstery. Very good condition,one drawer edge missing on desk. Circa 1850,possibly early work of the Rock & Graner firm.
