19" (48 cm.) Solid domed pink-tinted bisque socket head, sculpted light blonde hair in boyish style, large intaglio painted blue eyes with pronounced black pupils, white eye dots, short brushstroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with well-shaped lips, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, some repaint on torso. Marks: 7 Germany 7109. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: especially fine detail of intaglio eyes, lips, and impressed cheek dimples, wonderful antique costume comprising grey serge suit, black velvet vest, shirt, black leather shoes, cap.
