20" (51 cm.) All composition, socket head, sleep eyes, painted lashes, real lashes, single-stroke brows, open mouth, row of tiny teeth, brunette mohair wig, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent, severe craze line at right torso seam, small split at right eye corner. Marks: Jane Withers/Madame Alexander New York (original costume tag). Comments: portrait doll of the child film star, Jane Withers, under license by Madame Alexander, circa 1935. Value Points: wearing rare original tagged costume of pink organdy with blue applique flowers, and along with an autographed note by Jane Withers.
