2 1/2" (6 cm.) h. Each of fine hand-painted porcelain on self-base,one depicting a statesman in
contemplative pose,bearing the impressed mark F.R. of Pirkenhammer Porcelain firm of
Bavaria,early-19th century; the other a performer in striped shirt and pink trousers,with illegible
impressed mark,possibly Pirkenhammer. Excellent condition. Very rare to find porcelain works by
this early Medaille d?Or winning firm,especially in this miniature size,early-19th century.
