6 1/2"(17 cm.) l. settee. Having fruitwood frames with honey-tone finish,the elegant set is
upholstered in a delicate cream silk with rose floral pattern and has cream cord edging and silk
fringe. The curved chair backs are of heavy card paper with lacquered cream paint to match the
upholstery,and the set comprises settee,pair of curved-back arm chairs,four matching side
chairs,and a rare rocking chair with arms. Excellent condition,with especially beautiful silk
upholstery. Germany,circa 1885.
