Description
44" (112 cm.) w. x 17"h. x 16"d. The wooden dollhouse rooms with original dark grey exterior
paint and faux-wood-grained framed windows have decorative pilasters at the front with
original cream paint with gilded finish. There are two triple-paned windows in the parlor,and
a single triple-paned window at the side wall of the bedroom,each with original steeple-
shaped cream and gold cornice. The grand double doors between the rooms are richly-
paneled on the parlor side with decorative cornice,and simply painted on the bedroom
side,each of cream and gold to match the trim. Both rooms have wonderful old wall papers
with decorative borders and paper wainscoting,and each has original lithographed-paper
floor to simulate parquet. Original silk curtains with painted gold designs hang in the
parlor,and lace curtains in the bedroom The parlor is furnished with a cream and gold wooden
dining room set by Leonhardt comprising glazed-door cabinet,fancy settee and eight chairs
with original silk upholstery,marble top table and another round table. There is a superb
Maerklin tin jardiniere with hanging bird perch and aquarium,and various accessories
including cobalt porcelain tea service,another porcelain tea service,four prints,fine gilded
metal mirror,beaded carpet,pair of wooden candelable,and rare tall ormolu banquet lamp. The
bedroom has a five-piece wooden luxury set by Gottschalk with cream and gold paint,bisque
dogs,porcelain trinket box of baby with toy,and wall light fixture. Six antique bisque dolls live
in the house. Excellent condition,with luxury and opulent furnishings and accessories.
