Description
7" (18 cm.) l. settee. Each furniture object is of
light wood with natural unvarnished
finish,decorated with embossed Dresden gilt paper
edging and medallion decoupage,the upholstered
pieces having original rose silk cover with ivory
silk fringe. Comprising settee,two arm chairs,two
side chairs,piano with hinged lid and painted
keys,fernery with original rose silk flowers; oval
pedestal table,cabinet with curved front,and piano
stool. Excellent condition. For the French
market,attributed to Victor Francois Bolant,circa
1890.
