14" (36 cm.) Ash blonde floss hair with bangs and coronet braid at crown above pageboy curls captured in a black snood, Margaret face model, real lashes, non-walking body, small hands, wearing a full-length flowered rose cotton gown with ruffled lace at the bodice and cuffs, and with burgundy bows accenting the bodice, white cotton matching petticoat and pantalets with tatted edging, socks, black side-snap shoes with bows. The costume is tagged "Louisa M. Alcott's Little Women Meg by Madame Alexander N.Y. USA All Rights Reserved". Near mint condition. Alexander, very beautiful complexion and gorgeous hair in perfectly preserved arrangement, 1948, rare earliest model has original cloverleaf tag.
