Description
20" (51 cm.) w. x 13"h. c 15"d. A wooden-framed shop with faux-wood-grained finish on the
exterior walls has original lithographed paper floor and superb old wallpaper with floral
design with centered clock design at the back. The sides and back of the shop have attached
shelves with old lace-edging,and the room is furnished with four superb examples of shell-
decorated card-paper furniture,including cupboard,mirrored dressing table,another cabinet
with faux-books on upper shelves,and a settee with mauve silk upholstery. There is a frosted
glass lamp on its original wooden stand,silk-tufted chair,brass-framed dressing screen with
embroidery,four-arm candelabra,carpet with metallic thread border and very fine needlework
embroidery,and sewing machine. On display are six dresses,five bonnets,various needlework
pillows and panels,and early needlework reticule purse,along with various decorative paper
and bone boxes,folding fan,2 fine profile sculptures in mother-of-pearl frames,and more.
There are three bisque dolls in the store,along with a sleeping dog
