5 1/2" (14 cm.) x 3" pair. On board panels,depicted are three lovely women in charming
poses,one thoughtfully holding finger to throat as though contemplating what she has just read
in the book she holds,another against a rich drapery,stitchery-work in her hands,and the third
holding a market basket. Each has beautifully painted features and jeweled accessories. Excellent
condition. Circa 1840.
