5 1/2" (14 cm.) h. desk The desk with ebony finish decorated with gilt stenciling to emulate Boulle inlay furniture,having drop front with green paper lining and white edging to simulate marble. An ormolu clock with figural statue rests on the desk. With a set of four ebony-finished chairs with green silk upholstery and gilt-paper edging,one being a rare rocking chair. Excellent condition. Germany,circa 1885.
