2"(5 cm.) x 2 1/2". Including a maroon velvet album filled with tin-types of what appears to be
the childhood dolls belonging to one young lady. Comprising ten different tin-types of four
different dolls,each a closed mouth German bisque doll of the 1880 era,coinciding with the
prevalence of the tin-type photograph; extremely rare original miniature images of dolls,circa
1880,tin-types excellent,spine loose. Along with a printed"Album de la Poupee"with gold tooled
title on green leather cover,and featuring 12 sepia images of antique dolls; the album was issued
as a promotional object by the Parisian store,Au Paradis des Enfants,at the time of the 1867
International Exposition in Paris,excellent condition except spine loose.
