Very Rare German Painted Tin "Bar" by Maerklin

13" (33 cm.) w. x 13"h. x 6"d. A tinplate room with painted silvered upper walls and lower red walls,has a diamond-point black and white floor,and an attached tinplate sign "Bar" with gilt lettering and trim. An original lamp with double-mercury glass orbs hangs from the sign,and there are wall shelves,tin pressed mirror,and the original curved front bar and two round tables and chairs. The room is furnished with wine and liquor bottles and various foods,and a formal- suited waiter stands in attendance. An old German gas light is included. Very good condition,some paint wear,finish is all-original. Germany,Maerklin,circa 1900.
