A wooden-framed two room dollhouse with dark stained front columns and frame,black painted base has a grand salon with two rear 3-pane windows having original wooden cornices with old green silk and lace curtains. The room has early wall-paper depicting children at play,and paper-lithographed floor with a large woven and beaded carpet,and a gas chandelier hangs over the center pedestal table. A maroon-velvet upholstered set is arranged around the room,along with buffet,hall rack,pair of painted metal pedestals with pots of flowers,and accessories including a rare pair of exotic birds painted on porcelain in beaded frames,an exotic parrot perched on frame,porcelain dishes,oil lamp,clock,little dog statue under glass dome,bronzed metal dog,telephone,and ormolu- framed art work. A bisque dollhouse lady with rare white stockings inhabits room. The second room has a wooden Boulle-style bed upon which a bisque lady is posed,The room has a metal cornice with silk curtains,various prints and etchings,Boulle-style sewing table and marble top hall mirror,bisque dog,night table,marble top table with phonograph,parlor maid holding vase of flowers,and a beautifully woven carpet.
