Doll 3 1/2". Chairs 2". The bisque shoulder head doll has blonde sculpted hair and painted
features,muslin body,bisque lower limbs with unusual painted pink shoes with blue
ribbons,antique silk costume. Along with five tiny wooden chairs; three with ebony finish,woven
seats and decoupage,each with a little greeting,viz. Aus Achtung ("for respect"),Zer Erinnerung
("For remembering") and Zum Andenken ("in memory"); and two chairs with white painted
legs,blue upholstered seats and lithographed designs on the chair backs depicting a little boy
and girl at play. Excellent condition. Germany,circa 1885.
