Description
7 1/2" cupboard. Each of the five pieces is of pressed tin with original painted brown finish
shaded to appear as though rosewood,touches of gilt trim,and some with original interior yellow
paint. Each of the pieces was illustrated in the Rock and Graner Musterbucher sample book of
1875; the model numbers in the Musterbucher are shown in parenthesis. Including secretary
with drop front (#1752),glass front bookcase with foliate crest (#1753),cabinet with glass-front
upper doors and paneled lower doors (#1755),armoire with center crest and scallop-framed
mirror (#1756),and sewing work table with lift-top (#1758). All very good to excellent,some
typical very minor paint wear,mirror crack in bookcase. Rock & Graner,Germany,circa 1875.
