Description
26"w. x 16"h. x 17"d. One large framed wooden room with simple edging at the top and
ceiling line has two three-part windows at the back that hinge open,and a double door to the
outside with paneled detail. The house is entirely papered on the exterior,as well as the
interior which features original lattice design wallpaper with complementary wainscoting and
ceiling border. The lithographed floor paper simulates parquet flooring. The windows have
silk curtains with lace linings. Furnishings: a superbly carved fret-work ensemble has its
original painted white finish with enhancing gilt touches,and comprises a well-fitted
bed,large armoire,wash stand,night stand,hanging wall shelf and side chair with golden velvet
upholstery. A framed print and mirror decorate the wall,and there are,also,a porcelain wash
set,bear rug,mannequin head,and three bisque dolls in antique costumes.Germany,the
underside of the room is pencil lettered "1583". Circa 1915. Very good/excellent condition.
