Description
31"w. x 13"h. x 13"d. A wooden framed two-room house has decorative pilasters at the front in
blue,grey and gold colors,and the entire exterior in original ochre and grey paint and finished
window frames. The larger room has two window frames,and the smaller has one,each with a
rectangular high window set above two bottom windows that hinges inward,and each with
original cornice and original sateen draperies. Each room has original wallpapers with decorative
complementary borders,and each has parquet-designed lithographed paper floor. A door with
silver-metal door handle opens between the two,and is finished with lithographed paneling (that
is a match to #142). The house is marked 2928 in pencil on the underside. Excellent condition
with some typical wear to original papers. Germany,attributed to Gottschalk,circa 1900.
