7"l. sofa. With faux-mahogany painted finish trimmed with gilt striping,and having silk
upholstery in pale green with garland and wreath designs,the wooden furniture comprises:
settee with surround,dessert buffet,desk,table,upholstered arm chair,two upholstered side
chairs,and two plant stands. Excellent condition,slight spotting on armchair upholstery.
Germany,circa 1907,the set was shown in the Moritz Gottschalk catalog of that year described
as"salonmobel modern" and each piece could be purchased separately.
