Description
26" x 13"h. x 10"h. Two wooden-framed rooms whose frame and fancy columned front with ball
finials are finished in honey-brown stain,have original ochre and cream painting on the
exterior,and three 3-panel windows on the exterior with matching honey-brown stain on the
cornices,window frames and sills. A door opens between the two rooms,with original
lithographed paper to simulate wood paneling,and has a classic Gottschalk silver knob. There are
original wall and border papers in each room,and lithographed paper to simulate carpet. Very
good condition,some paper spotting. Germany,circa 1890,the house is lettered 5387/2 and
1240/7 on the underside,attributed to Moritz Gottschalk.
