Description
3" cradle. The early tragant-sculpted miniature depicts a baby cradle with winged cherub heads
on head and foot board,having fancily sculpted carving including doves. The cradle has original
tulle canopy and bed cover which encloses a tiny baby. Along with a paper gilt framed Dresden
ornament depicting a paper clock set to 25 minutes to 12 midnight,presumably on Christmas
Eve. Excellent condition of Dresden frame,cradle has reglue at torso of cherub,otherwise
excellent and fresh. Mid-19th century.
