5 1/2"w. (14 cm.) 5 1/2"h. x 4 1/2"l. bed. Each is of fine honey-toned fruitwood with dark wood
or gilt-paper edges,wooden drawer knobs. Including canopy bed with finial crown fitted with
blue silk with lace edging; toilette table with mirror and canopy top (small wood chip at crown)
having blue silk and lace curtains and original flower pots; corner table with bombe-shape front
and shelf; unusual chest with set-back drawers,mirror and curved front pillars; armoire with
curved cupboard doors flanking three drawers; small wash stand with cut-outs for wash bowl;
and five chairs and footstool with blue silk tufted upholstery and fringe. Excellent condition
overall,especially fine patina of finish. Continental,circa 1885.
