7"l. sofa. 5"h. secretary desk. The ten-piece ensemble of salon furnishings is of fine wood with
cherry finish and has very elaborate applique decorations of gilt metal to appear as though
bronze. The gilt-metal trim includes the legs on hall mirror,table and desk,as well as the shelves
on the desk. Included are superb secretary desk with bow front,library table with scalloped
top,curved-back settee,six balloon-back chairs,and hall mirror with attached shelf. The settee
and chairs have original upholstery. Excellent condition,mirror a bit silvered,desk and mirror
have original paper backings. Germany,circa 1890,very rare set with superb detail.
