3"h. Cast iron figurine depicting a curious mythological lady with an antlered mermaid tail,having
original painted finish in fine detail comprising a lavender gown with gilt trim,long braid,and
defined facial features. She is suspended from three silver chains,and in her right hand there is
an intertwined metal leaf that serves as a candle holder (possible another candle holder was
originally in left hand). Excellent condition as noted. Mid-19th century,probably German.
