9"l. sofa. The gracefully curved back sofa is upholstered in rich royal purple silk with gold cord
edging and rolled side pillows,and matches the side balloon back side chairs. Along with a
console table with cabriole legs and painted bronze-brown metal mounts. Each of the pieces has
original lithographed ebony paper cover with elaborate gold stencilling; the console table has a
mythological scene of woman. Excellent condition. Germany,circa 1890.
