Description
39"w. x 14"h. x 16"d. Two wooden-framed dollhouse rooms feature five windows with arched
top and painted panes,and an opening door between the rooms with paneled detail. The
house has original exterior paper all around,and original rare painted floors with star design
in both rooms. The larger room has an unusual original bird-patterned wallpaper with
matching borders,and the bedroom has original floral print wallpaper with complementary
borders. The windows and both sides of the interior door have original wooden cornices with
richly carved crests,attached drapery pulls with wooden hand holds,and original wooden
curtain tie-back knobs; there are maroon silk curtains in the salon and lace curtains in the
bedroom. Excellent condition. Provenance: ex-collection Puppenstuben Museum of
Landsberg Toy Museum near Munich. Germany,circa 1900.
