22" (56 cm.) Bisque socket head with nearly solid rounded dome, plump cheeks and slightly-double chin, brown glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with defined space between outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair, early Sonneberg composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, fine antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, tiny typical flakes at pierced ear holes. Marks: 12. Comments: Sonneberg, circa 1882, in the French look-alike manner. Value Points: rare model with impressive features, closed mouth, original body with fine original finish.
