3". Each is a porcelain figurine of a gentleman in caricature pose,on original matching porcelain
base,one depicting an elderly bald gentleman who appears to be pondering a serious
thought,while the other is a young man,kneeling,hands to heart in a beseeching pose. Impressed
F.R. for Pirkenhammer Porcelain firm of Bavaria,who won Medaille d'Or for his works at the 1839
International Exposition in Vienna. Excellent condition. Mid-19th century,very rare and
wonderful decorations for early dollhouse rooms.
