5"h. Having ebony wooden carved legs,the chairs are ingeniously constructed with wooden seats and back of straight chairs,and wooden seats and curved card paper backs on sofa and arm chairs. Each with richly upholstered and padded burgundy velvet with unusual tufting,and trimmed with maroon cording,gilt braid with maroon silk fringe,and original black paper backing Excellent condition. Germany,Waltershausen,circa 1885. Very rare to find in such fine condition.
