Description
5" (13 cm.) l. sofa. 7 1/2"h. dresser and mirror. Of finely grained oak or chestnut,each of the
seven pieces is decorated with delicate applique paper borders to simulate wood carving,the
borders are edged with black striping. Further decoration includes very subtle tri-color braid
trim,and nicely carved pilasters. The set comprises a settee and four chairs with original
cordovan leather upholstery,library table with trestle legs,and a three drawer chest with attached
shelf and mirror. Excellent condition,especially fine workmanship. Germany,circa 1890.
