23" (58 cm.) Bisque socket head,large brown glass eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,brush-
stroked brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with space between the shaded
and outlined lips,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig,early Sonneberg composition and wooden
eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists,pretty lace dress. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: 136 14. Comments: mystery maker,circa 1885,the model was made to capture
the French market,and closely resembles early portrait French bebes. Value points: fine quality of
delicate bisque with beautiful painting of features,original body and body finish.
