18" (46 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with pink-tinted complexion, brown sculpted boyish hair with modeled topknot and forelock curls, narrow blue squinting side-glancing eyes with intaglio detail, short feathered brows, rounded nose with accented nostrils, closed mouth modeled wide open with sculpted detail of tongue, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 6 Heubach (in square) 7911 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: beautiful complexion enhances the deeply sculpted laughter lines around the eyes and mouth, impressed cheek dimples.
