eyes,dark eyeliner encircles the eyecut,painted lashes,thick brush-stroked and feathered
brows,accented eye corners and shaded nostrils,closed mouth with modeled space between
the shaded and accented lips,pierced ears,brunette elongated wig,all-wooden mannequin
torso with dowel-jointed shoulder and elbows,painted red stockings,black cast iron ankle
boots. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Bru Jne 17. Comments: Leon Casimir Bru,the
creation of bisque heads for milliners and couturier purposes was an important aspect of the
firm for some time,this model created in the mid-188os. Value Points: very fine detail of
sculpting of nostrils,philtrum,lip corners and chin dimples,fine painting of facial features,rare
size 17 model,fabulous extended-length mohair wig,antique sailor costume,bonnet and silk
parasol.
