33" (84 cm.) Bisque socket head,brown glass side-glancing sleep eyes,dark painted
eyeliner,ochre eye shadow,lightly-feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed
mouth with center accent line,blonde human hair wig,French composition and wooden fully-
jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Unis France 71 149 (head) Jumeau Paris
Princesse (impressed script mark on back torso). Comments: the model was created in 1938 to
honor the young British Princess Elizabeth on her official state visit to Paris. Only a very few of
this exhibition size models were made. Value Points: very rare portrait doll wearing the original
costume,wig,coronet,and having very rare impressed "Princesse" body mark.
