11" (28 cm.) Each has paper mache shoulder head with deeply sculpted arranged curls forming
into a braided chignon at the back of head,painted facial features,small brown eyes,painted
eyeliner,feathered brows,closed mouth,cloth body. Condition: generally excellent. Comments:
French,circa 1840. Value Points: perfectly-preserved rare early dolls with elaborate coiffure,rare
brown eyes,and completely original costumes with embroidered slippers,silver wire necklaces
and carrying silk flowers of different varieties.
