25" (64 cm.) Paper mache shoulder head with deeply-sculpted short black curly hair with
stippling details around the face,turquoise painted eyes,black and red upper eyeliner,feathered
brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth,blushed cheeks,handmade muslin stitch-jointed
body,wearing handmade uniform costume with brass buttons and black leather belt,high boots.
Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1870. Value Points: superb detailing of
hair,original painted finish,and great presentation of partially-antique costume.
