16" (41 cm.) All cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted facial features,brown short curly painted
hair,sculpted blushed ears,brown painted eyes with black and brown upper eyeliner,accented
nostrils,closed mouth with pouty lips,blushed cheeks,muslin body with side-hip jointing of
legs,stitch-jointed arms,separately-applied thumbs. Condition: generally excellent,some
craquelure to original paint at back of head. Marks: Kathe Kruse 61042 (foot stamp).
Comments: Kathe Kruse,circa 1915. Value Points: original complexion and painting beautifully-
preserved on face,ears,forehead curls of hair.
