24" (61 cm.) Bisque socket head,painted facial features,dark blue upper glancing eyes with dark
thick upper eyeliner,one stroke tapered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth
with defined teeth,accented lips,dimpled chin,brunette mohair wig,composition and wooden
ball-jointed body,nicely costumed in black velvet suit,cap,knit stockings,black ankle boots.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 151 S&H 4 (head) Heinrich Handwerck (body). Comments:
Simon and Halbig from their art-reform character series,circa 1910. Value Points: the smiling-
face boy model has wonderful definition of dimples and laughter lines,and fine quality of
bisque,original body and body finish,especially rare in this larger size,
