33" (84 cm.) The all-wooden hand-carved doll depicting a woman,with sculpted hair
bun,sculpted facial features,has swivel-head,shapely bosom,dowel-articulation at the
shoulders,elbows,wrists,hips,knees and ankles,and ball-swivel waist. Condition: generally
excellent. Comments: the artist-mannequin model doll was used throughout the 19th
century,and the body style was the inspiration for the deposed wooden-body poupee of Leon
Casimir Bru. Value Points: fine natural finish,a rare grand-size example.
