To fit 16" poupee. Of most delicate silk pongee with woven bands of alternating cream and
silver,the skirt with demi-train and flared sides,and the bodice with Alencon lace edging at the
neckline and contrasting lavender silk bands and petal-shaped over skirt. Excellent
condition,minor fading at two petal points. French,circa 1860s,an exquisite gown.
