12" (30 cm.) larger. Each has terra cotta head with rich ebony-black complexion,painted facial
features,closed mouth,brown outlined eyes,black fleecy-sculpted wigs,hemp-wrapped
body,sculpted fingers expressively posed,paper mache lower legs with sculpted boots.
Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Neopolitan,early 19th century. Value Points:
exceptional quality of artistic sculpting and painting of their facial features,original costumes
well-preserved.
