17" (44 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head portraying a solemn-faced handsome young
lad,sculpted light-brown hair with well-defined curls around the forehead,painted blue upper-
glancing eyes in defined eye sockets,black upper eyeliner,lightly feathered brows,accented
nostrils of slightly-upturned nose,closed mouth with impressed dimples at lip
corners,cheeks,and philtrum,composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: 153 S&H 7. Comments: Simon and Halbig,circa1910. Value Points: extremely
rare model with outstanding quality of sculpting and painting,original body and body finish,and
wearing his original well-detailed Scottish costume.
