Description
9" (23 cm.) armoire. The card-stock cabinet has lithographed-paper side to simulate tortoise
shell,and liberal decoration of decorative shells over all the roof,front and base of the
cabinet,framing the mirrored door. The door opens to a blue-paper-lined shelved
interior,originally presented as a candy container. Along with a shell-decorated chair. Excellent
condition. French,late 19th century.
