8" (20 cm.) h. bookcase. Each of fine lightwood with painted ebony and lithographed paper finish, the paper designed to simulate the mid-1800s French Boulle furnishings having mahogany shading with gilt designs. The set includes a bookcase with glass door top in which are presented a number of original very fine wooden faux-books; secretary desk with drop-down front revealing an intricately fitted mirror-back interior; very tall hall mirror with cupboard base and bone accents; round pedestal table; tall-back chair with green silk seat; and fancy arm chair with green silk upholstery. Excellent condition. Germany, attributed to D.H. Wagner, mid-1800s, an outstanding group with rare pieces.
