33" (84 cm.) Pressed bisque socket head with full cheeks and chin,amber-brown glass
paperweight inset eyes,thick dark eyeliner,painted lashes,mauve-blushed eye shadow,lightly-
feathered brows,accented eye corners and nostrils,closed mouth with defined space between the
outlined lips,heart-shaped upper lip,prominent dimple on chin and at lip corners,pierced
ears,long blonde mohair wig over cork pate,French composition and wooden fully-jointed body
with straight wrists,pretty antique costume,brown velvet bonnet,undergarments,leather shoes.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: B 6 M. Comments: Mothereau,circa 1884. Value Points:
exceptional quality of bisque,sculpting and painting; few dolls are known to exist by this short-
lived firm and models of this size and quality are virtually unknown.
