Description
20" (51 cm.) Standing upon a velvet covered base is a bisque head doll with blue glass paperweight eyes, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, bisque hands, carton torso and legs, lovely silk and lace costume, holding a basket of berries in one hand and a wooden bird cage with bird in the other. When wound, music plays, she nods and turns her head, and alternately lifts the basket or cage; the bird very slightly flits. Condition: generally excellent, costume not original but is authentically styled, nose rub. Marks: 1078 Germany Simon & Halbig S&H 5. (head) LB (key).
