19" (48 cm.) Bisque socket head with plumply-modeled cheeks,painted small blue eyes with
decorative glaze at lower eye sockets,black upper eyeliner,short feathered brows,accented
nostrils,closed mouth with primly-set lips,blonde mohair braids,composition and wooden ball-
jointed body,antique costume,undergarments,aqua kidskin shoes,wonderful straw bonnet.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: COD A/ 6 1/2 (head) (holz-masse stamp on back torso).
Comments: Cuno and Otto Dressel,circa 1910. Value Points: few examples are known of this
model,with very choice bisque and unusual painting of eyes,original signed body with original
finish.
