24" (61 cm.) Thick paste porcelain shoulder head of adult lady with slender oval face and
elongated throat,defined throat hollow,black sculpted center-part hair waved back just at her
cheek bones into deep loops over her ear tips and forming into a loosely-bound chignon at
the back of her head,stippling details at her nape,outlined painted blue eyes in defined
sockets,shaded grey upper eyeliner,feathered brows,aquiline nose,accent dots at eye corners
and nostrils,closed mouth with full outlined lips,muslin stitch-jointed body,porcelain
limbs,painted flat rose shoes and green ribbon-tied stocking,wearing lovely antique rose
taffeta jacket with Alencon black lace,rose satin skirt,undergarments,antique cameo.
Condition: generally excellent,right porcelain leg has hairlines. Marks: (two short green
horizontal lines and one extended green vertical line inside shoulder plate). Comments:
mystery maker,in the KPM manner,circa 1850. Value Points: superb early porcelain lady with
beautifully blushed detail on cheeks and chin,very full sensuous lips,defined eye
sockets,maker's mark,fine costume.
