paperweight inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,rose blushed eye shadow,feathered
brows,accented eye corners,shaded nostrils,closed mouth with outlined lips,pierced ears,blonde
mohair wig over cork pate,French kid-gusset-jointed poupee body with stitched and separated
fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 9 (head and shoulder plate). Comments:
Gaultier,circa 1870. Value Points: rare dramatic size is enhanced by gorgeous pale bisque and
splendid eyes,sturdy body,and lovely silk costume.
